Important mounting instructions
S Handle the transducer with care
S Use suitable tools
S The mounting surfaces (load application parts) must
- Be free of grease and dust
- have a hardness level of more than 43HRC
S Do not overload the transducer, even temporarily, for
example, due to unevenly distributed support loads.
S Initially use supports (blanks, dummies) that are the
same height when completing the adjustment work.
WARNING
Additional safeguards must be provided if there is a risk
that overloading the transducer may cause it to break,
which could put people at risk.
General installation guidelines
The forces to be measured must act on the transducer
as accurately as possible in the direction of measure
ment. Torques and bending moments, eccentric loading
and lateral forces may produce measurement errors and
destroy the transducer, if limit values are exceeded.
