Application area and operating instructions
The K-LK1/600N-WH type series force transducers are
suitable for measuring tensile and compressive forces.
They provide highly accurate static and dynamic force
measurements and must therefore be handled very care­
fully. Particular care must be taken during transport and
installation of the devices. Dropping or knocking the
transducer may cause permanent damage.
The force transducers are made of stainless steel. They
are maintenance-free and can even be installed in diffi­
cult to access areas. Their measurement signals can be
transmitted to distant test control points. It is essential to
provide careful sealing so that sensitive strain gage ap­
plications are protected by the housing.
The technical data specifies the permissible limits for
mechanical, thermal and electrical stress. It is essential
that these are taken into account when planning the
measuring set-up, during installation and, ultimately, dur­
ing operation.
