3 General application instructions
Load cells are suitable for measuring compressive forces. Because they pro­
vide highly accurate static and dynamic force measurements, they must be
handled very carefully. Particular care must be taken when transporting and
installing the devices. Dropping and knocking the transducer may cause per­
manent damage.
