– Press the short section of the wheel arch cover -1- onto the
bumper -2-.
– Align the short section of the wheel arch cover -1- so that it
is flush with the invisible joint -C- on the bumper transition to
the wing.
– Fix the add-on components in position, using tape if neces-
sary.
– The visible joint -D- from the front blade to the short section
of the wheel arch cover -1- must be 4 mm.
– Carefully remove the protective film from the adhesive tape
in the following order:
◆ Top protective film
◆ Bottom protective film
– Press on the adhesive tape using the pressure roller.
– Press the long section of the wheel arch cover -3- into place
on the wing -4- and align the wheel arch cover.
– Close the joint between the short and long sections of the
wheel arch cover.
– Fix the add-on components in position, using tape if neces-
sary.
– The visible joint -E- from the long section of the wheel arch
cover -3- must be 4 mm.
Caution
The visible joint -E- is the water drainage opening for the
wing. The 4-mm gap must be maintained; otherwise there
is a risk of corrosion.
Do not apply excessive pressure to the component!
– Carefully remove the protective film from the adhesive tape
in the following order:
◆ Top protective film
– Press on the adhesive tape using the pressure roller.

Attaching the rear apron attachment

Note
◆ Two people are required to position the rear apron attach-
ment.
◆ The plastic discs of approx. 1.5 mm must be cut to size
(30 mm x 20 mm x 1.5 mm) by the installer.
