Note
◆ Make sure that the pull-tabs on the side sill attachment pro-
trude and are not hidden.
◆ To check the position of the component, position the rear
wheel without using any adhesive and check the gap
lustration ZUB-OS017 on page 19
Caution
Do not apply excessive pressure to the component!
– Carefully remove the protective film from the adhesive tape.
– Press on the adhesive tape using the pressure roller.
– Fit the sill plugs -3-.
– Insert the screw -5- with the sleeve attached -4- in the pre-
pared hole and screw the side sill attachment to the side sill.

Attaching the short and long sections
of the front wheel arch cover
Note
The following sequence of operations describes how to attach
the front left-hand wheel arch cover. The front right-hand wheel
arch cover is attached in the same way.
The illustration provides an overview of the bonding areas for
liquid adhesive and adhesive tape on the front left wheel arch
cover.
A – ∅ 4-mm liquid adhesive bead
B – adhesive tape
– Align the pull-tabs of the adhesive tape on both sides of the
wheel arch cover at a 90 ° angle (as shown in the illustra-
tion).
a = min. 30 mm
– Clean the bonding surfaces on the vehicle and on the add-
on component using isopropanol.
– Roughen and clean non-roughened bonding surfaces on the
component to be installed.
● The bonding surfaces on the body and the add-on compo-
nent must be completely dry, clean and free from wax and oil
or grease.
– Apply a ∅ 4-mm bead of liquid adhesive.
– Place the short section of the wheel arch cover in the correct
installation position on the bumper. Note the fineliner mark-
ing.

Make sure that the pull-tabs on the front wheel arch cover pro-
trude and are not hidden.
