– Insert the spreader rivets -2- into the front spoiler -1- but do
not close the rivets yet.

Attaching the front blade

Note
The following sequence of operations describes how to attach
the left-hand front blade. The right-hand front blade is attached
in the same way.
– Prepare the power drill and drill bit.
– Set the drill depth limiter.
Dimension -a- = 25 mm
Caution
Be careful to observe the drilling depth in order to prevent
damaging the lines behind the bumper!
The illustration provides an overview of the bonding areas for
liquid adhesive on the side sill attachment.
A – Adhesive tape
B – ∅ 8-mm liquid adhesive bead
C – ∅ 4-mm liquid adhesive bead
– Align the pull-tabs of the adhesive tape on both sides of the
front blade at a 90 ° angle (as shown in the illustration).
a = min. 30 mm
– First, clean the bonding surfaces on the vehicle and on the
add-on component using isopropanol.
– Roughen and clean all bonding surfaces on the component
to be installed.
● The bonding surfaces on the body and the add-on compo-
nent must be completely dry, clean and free from wax and oil
or grease.
– Place the front blade in the correct installation position on
the bumper and align the front blade with the fineliner mark-
ing.
