JNSGyro-4T Problems
The following are some of the most commonly encountered problems.

The board cannot establish a connection to a computer or external controller.
Causes
The
cable
is
not
properly plugged in.
The cable is damaged.
The receiver port used
for connection is not in
Command mode.
The JNSGyro-4T boards do not lock on to satellites for a long period of time.
Causes
The boards store an
old almanac.
The
antenna(as)
cable(s)
is(are)
damaged.
The board(s) track(s) too few satellites.
Causes
Problem
Check that the cable connector is attached to the correct
serial port.
Unplug the cable, and then securely and properly reconnect
it to the appropriate port.
See "External Components" on page 1-9 and "Connector
Specifications" on page B-7 for information on the
receiver's connectors.
Use an undamaged cable.
Contact your Dealer to replace the cable.
Connect your board and a computer using a free port (see
"Connecting the JNSGyro-4T and a Computer" on
page 2-3) and start PCView.
Click Configuration->Receiver->Ports.
Change the Input for the serial port used for connection to
Command.
Problem
Update the almanac.
Use an undamaged cable.
Contact your Dealer to replace the cable(s).
