JNSGyro-4T Setup
Antennas Setup
www.javad.com
Four antennas must be rigidly attached to the vehicle. There are no any
special restrictions on their mutual location. The antennas are not
necessarily equidistant, neither should they form an orthogonal cross. The
only restriction is that they must not be located on a line. In addition,
antennas should not shade each other (Figure 3-3 on page 3-5):
The rear antenna is connected to Master1 (Antenna input 1),
The front antenna is connected to Slave2 (Antenna input 2).
The left wing antenna is connected to Slave3 (Antenna input 3).
The right wing antenna is connected to Slave4 (Antenna input 4).
The antennas should be located as far from one another as possible for a
given geometry of the vehicle body. All antennas must be exposed to the
open sky and not shaded. The attitude accuracy estimates obviously depend
on the distances between the antennas, and their RMS values are found as
HeadingR
[rad], where L=DM1-S2D [m],
Roll/PitchR
[rad], where L=DS3-S4D[m].
