Preparing to Run the Installation Utility
Description
Choose the version of LAN WorkPlace for DOS you
are installing (4.2, 5.0, or provided).
Enter the location (drive:\pathname) of LAN
WorkPlace for DOS on your host PC (for version 4.2
or 5.0).
Enter the hard drive (or partition) on your host PC
that you want to use as a scratch drive to build the
JANUS drive images. 14MB is required.
Enter the JANUS device IP address.
Enter a valid user name for the UNIX environment.
The Installation Utility enters the first part of the
subnet mask based on the Station IP address. Enter
the last part of the subnet mask.
The Installation Utility enters the first part of the
default router address based on the Station IP
address. Enter the last part of the default router
address.
The Installation Utility enters the first part of the
host IP address based on the Station IP address.
Enter the last part of the host IP address or enter a
host name.
(UDP Plus only) Enter the IP address of the Model
200 Controller that you plan to communicate with.
