Attach your Device or Devices to the Mast
A. Attach the device or devices to the Mounting Pole, above the Guy Ring (if
there is a Guy Ring on the Mounting Pole).
B. If using any BlueSky mounting accessories attach and position the
devices at this time.
C. Attach any necessary cables or wires. Use of Velcro straps or other cable
management to lash cables to the mast is highly recommended to prevent
wind damage to cable connections and devices. Unsecured cables can
cause the mast to lean excessively during deployment, causing damage
and potentially unsafe conditions.
Raising the Center Mast
The 1st Center Mast Pole topped with the Mounting Pole should already be
locked in the compression collar and guyed, if guying is required. When either
standing up or breaking down the antenna mast, ALWAYS hold the mounting
pole BELOW the tripod collar. DO NOT lift or hold mounting pole above the
collar as the bottom section may slide out and give you no way to secure the
mast which can cause the mast to topple over.
