C. With the Guy Loop on the head of the ground stake facing toward the
mast, hammer the ground stake about into the ground. Leave the
Hammer on the ground next to the Ground Stake that you just deployed,
this enables you to quickly locate the Ground Stake in the next steps.
D. Retrieve the 1st Guy Rope and unwind rope while walking slowly toward
the ground stake.
(Do not stand still and unwind a pile of rope.)
E. Clip the 1st Guy Rope to the Guy Loop on the ground stake and let it drop
to the ground.
F. Repeat the above steps until all guys have been properly deployed.
G. When all guys have been deployed, inspect the spacing and orientation to
the Guy Collar. Any adjustments must be made now. When deploying
the ground stakes, make sure there are no buried power cables or phone
lines as Contact with these lines may cause serious injury or even death.
