Extending the Tripod
Loosen the adjustment knob on each of the 3 telescoping legs by gripping
with one hand the knurled area immediately below each knob and with the
other hand rotating the knob counterclockwise about ¾ turn.
After all three adjustment knobs have been loosened, grip the Tripod with
both hands by two legs above the turn knobs and lift until the legs fully
deploy.
When lifting, if a leg does not extend easily, check that the Turn Knob has
been loosened and then pull on the leg until it fully deploys.
Lift the Tripod completely off the ground to be certain all three legs are
completely and evenly extended to their maximum height.
Return the Tripod gently to the ground. Hold each leg firmly by its knurl and
fully tighten each of the three leg Turn Knobs.
Before tightening, be sure that the Base Plate at the bottom of each leg is flat
on the ground and properly aligned.
Important: The three legs must be fully extended and locked in place before
continuing to the next step.
