1.1 Construction and Function
The 4R101 sliding adapter permits translational adjustments in the
frontal plane and the sagittal plane. The adapter consists of an upper
part and a lower part, which can be slid against each other with a
cross support. The sliding adapter is installed between the socket
attachment block and the socket adapter of a prosthesis. The low
structural height also allows use with long residual limbs.

2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The product is intended exclusively for lower limb exoprosthetic fit­
tings.
2.2 Area of application
Approved for a body weight of up to 100 kg.
The product may only be used in TF prostheses proximal to the pros­
thetic knee joint.
2.3 Environmental conditions
Storage and transport
Temperature range –20 °C to +60 °C (–4 °F to +140 °F), relative
humidity 20 % to 90 %, no mechanical vibrations or impacts
Allowable environmental conditions
Temperature range: –10 °C to +45 °C

2.4 Service life
In general, all modular adapters are tested by the manufacturer for
3 million load cycles. Depending on the user's activity level, this cor­
responds to a maximum service life of 5 years.
