Programming scan edges via the microphone

Ä Set the desired frequency in VFO mode.

Push [VFO] to select VFO mode.

Set the frequency using the keypad.
Å Push [FUNC] then [EMW] momentarily.
Ç Push Y] or [Z] to select scan edge channels.

É Push [FUNC] then [EMW] for 1 sec. to program.
3 beeps may sound and the VFO contents
(including the subaudible tone frequency,
etc.) are programmed.
[EXAMPLE]: Programming 145.30 MHz and 145.80 MHz into scan edges 1A and 1b, respectively.
