Using a machine that is not fully operational.
The machine is equipped with a dead man's grip which causes the machine to stop as
soon as you release the grip. Modifying the machine so that it stays running without
holding the levers is strictly prohibited.
WARNING! Use caution when operating on slippery surfaces, such as gravel. Always adjust
your speed.
DANGER! Risk of tipping/rolling over when transporting heavy loads! Never overload the
machine!
Always check your route before starting work. Avoid driving over holes or uneven ground.
If you discover holes or large bumps on the ground, mark them to avoid driving over them
unintentionally.
Instructions for emergency situations:
•
Release the machine! The dead man's grip will cause the machine to stop.
•
When the machine has stopped, switch off the engine. Check for damage.
•
Back up carefully if necessary. Put the machine into low gear and back up carefully.
•
Do not brake suddenly; risk of tipping.
MAINTENANCE: Service/maintain the machine regularly
(see the checklist/maintenance section)
It is important to maintain the machine to keep it in good working order.
•
Check the drive belts for cracks or other breaks.
If you detect cracks or signs of wear, replace the parts before using the machine.
•
Check the functioning of all controls.
•
Check that the dead man's grip is functioning.
