  • Page 7 PERSONAL PROTECTION Always wear suitable clothing and footwear. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry when us- ing the machine. Remember to put up long hair when operating machines with rotating parts. Wear protective gloves, to prevent burn injuries on contact with hot surfaces such as exhaust system, and to avoid oil and gasoline on the skin.
  • Page 8 Learn and remember the correct working methods. Beginners should always keep a low speed, use extreme caution before routine and product knowledge is achieved. The user/customer is responsible to handle the situation correctly. The product should not be taken into use unless it can be done in a safe way for the user.

ALWAYS STOP THE ENGINE BEFORE STARTING MAINTENANCE /SERVICE. TO AVOID UNEXPECTED START, TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND PULL OUT THE CORD Never use damaged machine to avoid injuries.

  • Page 14 ASSEMBLY - SAWMILL 21-SV500E Remove all packaging materials, put the cutting head unit standing on a straight surface as figure shows below. Ensure that it cannot tip. Mount 2 pcs of square tube into the unit, right and left side. Loosen the locking handle when installing the tubes.
  • Page 15 ASSEMBLY - FEET AND FRAME Install the feet onto the square tube left and right side of the cutting head unit. Loosen the bolts using a 16mm wrench. Make sure you mount them correctly this side should face the rails Mount the stabilizer’s frame behind the cutting head unit and the stabilizers undeneath (fig A), install the winch above the cutting head unit (fig.

  • Page 17 ASSEMBLY - MEASUREMENT SCALE AND WATERTANK Mount the measurement scale on the stabilizing frame. Assemble the water tank, accordning to the pictures below. The copper pipe which is located on the ending of the water hose is mounted underneath the cutter head unit. The copper pipe should point to the blade so that the water beam hits the blade during operation.
  • Page 18 ASSEMBLY - RAILS Follow the steps a.) Place the rails on a flat surface. The rail consists of 2 sections (delivered as standard). Line up the sections and assemble them together as a trail for the cutting head unit. Mount the stabi- lizers in between the 2 sections - do not tighten the bolts yet (sew pictures below) stabilizers - log support finished assembled rail...
  • Page 19 ASSEMBLY - LOG SUPPORT c.) Install the metal stop at the ending of the rail. d.) Mount the log support where it is appropriate. The long log support is appropriate for big logs and the small ones for smaller logs. e.) Lubricate threads and locking pins.

  • Page 21 INSTALLING THE SAW BLADE AND BELT ADJUSTMENTS The following instruction should never be perform with the engine running. For your own safety, pull out the electric cord from the socket. Gloves and goggles are recommended to worn when working with the saw belt. 1.) Remove the belt cover by removing 3 bolts mounted on the front, use 13 mm wrench.
  • Page 22 3.) Use gloves when installing the he saw blade. The blades teeth should face the rails - cutting direction. The sawblade rotates counterclockwise during operation. Mount the sawblade on the blade wheels, the lower part of the sawblade should be mounted between blade guide blocks, tighten the sawblade.

If the wheel is skew, either the left or right wheel lies too close to the protective cover Fig. 2 Fig. 1 MEASURE: • Loosen the nut with 24mm key as shown in the pictures below. • If the wheel is skew according to Fig 1: Loosen the adjuster bolt, then turn the tensioner until the tire is straight.

ADJUSTMENT: UP AND DOWN If the wheel is skewed så that either the upper part (Fig 3) or the lower part (Fig4) of the wheel is too close to the protective cover: Fig 4 Fig 3 MEASURE If the wheel is skewed as shown in FIG. 3, loosen the top adjuster bolt (# 7) with 19mm key and adjust it upwards until you reach the right height.
  • Page 25 8.) Adjusting the belt steering blocks is performed by loosening the M10x25 bolt with a 16mm wrench. Press the block so that the roller is against the back of the saw belt, the roller must not push the sawblade forward as this affects the sawblades movement. Adjust so that the saw blade runs smoothly adjusts if necessary, then tighten the bolts.
