USE/OPERATION
•
Carefully inspect the area the equipment will be used in and remove all objects/obstacles that
may be in the way or get stuck under the machine.
•
Always hold the machine with both hands during use.
•
Never leave the machine with the engine running. Switch off the engine when you leave the
equipment, even for a short period.
•
Avoid taking sudden turns in sharp curves, sudden accelerations or sudden braking while
driving. This could cause the minidumper to skid or tip over.
•
Always adjust speed while operating. When driving up or down inclines, put the machine in
"LOW" gear
•
Do not operate the machine if the engine switch cannot be turned OFF during use.
•
Avoid unintentional starts. Make sure that the engine switch is at OFF during transportation and
when performing service/maintenance on the machine. Never leave the minidumper with the
engine running.
•
If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine and check the cause immediately.
Vibrations are generally a warning sign of problems.
It is prohibited to use the minidumper on public roads. Keep in mind that the operator is
•
responsible for following the law.
•
Never overload the machine! Do not exceed the greatest permitted load weight/height.
•
Load, and distribute the load, evenly on the bed. When transporting unwieldy material, the
load must be secured with tension straps, rope or netting to avoid accidents caused by the load
rolling or moving across the bed when driving.
•
If you will be driving over a bridge or a platform of your own making, take the total weight of
the machine and load into consideration and ensure that the bridge or platform can handle the
weight, and that it has guard rails.
•
Take care not to drive into objects while operating the minidumper, to avoid damaging the
machine.
•
Only switch gears when the machine is standing still - Adjust the speed to ensure safe operation!
Never run!
•
Turn by squeezing the steering lever on the side you want to turn towards.
•
Take your time to learn how to handle the equipment and its settings before loading it.
•
When parking on an incline, make sure to block the drive belts.
•
Consider the placement of the load the bed; centre the load as far as possible.
•
Before reversing, check the area behind you to avoid backing into something and injuring
yourself.
•
Only drive in reverse when necessary - if possible, turn around and go forward.
•
Drive very carefully when there is little space, such as when driving through doors/gates or in/
out of containers.
•
Avoid at all costs operating on a sideways slope. Great risk of falling/crushing!
•
Exercise extreme caution when driving up/down inclines. Great risk of falling/crushing!
•
Do not drive close to dug holes, precipices or similar that do not have guard rails; and observe
work environment regulations.
•
Never stand so that you can get crushed if the minidumper tips, e.g. on slopes.
•
Keep in mind that it is difficult to brake and steer the minidumper on ramps/slopes.
•
Take care to ensure that loosely fitting clothing cannot get stuck in the minidumper's controls.
•
Ensure that maintenance/service is done on the machine.
Avoid hearing damage
Long-term exposure to noise can cause permanent hearing damage.
Use ear defenders.
Prevent inhalation of toxic gases
Exhaust fumes contain toxic substances, therefore never use the machine in
poorly ventilated spaces. Not for indoor use.
