TROUBLE-
SHOOTING
The machine does not
start
Engine runs erratically
Weak engine
The machine accelerates
too slowly when chang-

You press the dead
man's grip/brake down

CAUSE
The fuel tap is closed.
The fuel tank is empty.
The choke valve is open.
The start button is in the OFF position
Water and dirt in the fuel system.
Spark plug wire is disconnected.
Belt tensioning lever is engaged.
Dirt in spark plug.
Spark plug wire is loose.
Choke lever in closed position.
Blocked fuel line or old fuel.
Water and dirt in the fuel system.
Clogged air filter.
Incorrect carburettor adjustment.
Clogged air filter.
Clogged silencer/exhaust system
The throttle cable is stuck.
Engine oil level low.
Dirt in the air filter.
Airflow limited.
The carburettor has not been adjusted
properly.
The machine is not in gear.
The drive belt is loose.
The brake is not working.
The brake does not grip properly.
Water has got into the brake.
The brakes do not grip properly due to
overload.
The drive belt falls off.
Steering does not work well
WARNING!
If something is wrong with the machine, stop immediately and repair the fault.
MEASURE
Open the fuel tap
Top up the tank with fuel.
Close the choke valve.
Turn the start button to the ON position
Clean the fuel system and top up with new fuel.
Securely fasten the cable.
Loosen the belt tensioning lever.
Clean or change.
Tighten the cable securely.
Turn the lever to open position.
Clean fuel line. Top up with new fuel.
Clean the fuel system and top up with new fuel.
Clean or change the air filter
See engine manual.
Clean or change the air filter
Inspect and clean the system.
Check and adjust.
Top up with oil.
Clean the filter.
Remove the housing and clean.
See engine manual.
Put properly into gear
Adjust the drive belt
Adjust the brakes' sensitivity for functionality.
Adjust the brakes' sensitivity for functionality.
Brake repeatedly numerous times to dry the brakes.
Reduce the load.
Check the drive belt for damage.
Check the drive belt's tension
Check the attachment cables.
Check that the steering arm and attachment cable
are in place and undamaged.
Check that the handlebar is undamaged.
