Inspect the windrower teeth for excessive wear
or damage. The teeth are made from high
strength abrasion resistant 450BHN steel which
provides superior wear resistance. However
under certain working conditions some wear is
to be expected.
If teeth are worn down to 2.5" as shown, they
will not be effective and need to be replaced.

ROADSIDE OPERATION

When using the windrower to reclaim roadside gravel, adjustments may need to be made to optimize its
performance. Set the drum height 1/2" above the road surface by tilting the implement forward or back.
Increase the drum speed by replacing the hydraulic motor option with a smaller motor. Consult your nearest
Schulte dealer for further information.
The windrower should never be operated on the center (crown) of the road as this will cause excessive wear of
the teeth near the center of the drum.
