Installing the Software
When the installation is finished, click the Restart button.
The Macintosh restarts.
This completes the installation of the printer driver.
z If the computer is connected to a network, open System Preferences and at the
Display setting under Network select Built-in Ethernet, then on the AppleTalk
sheet make sure that the "Make AppleTalk Active "checkbox is checked.

Press the Power button to switch the printer on.
When the Online lamp is lit, the printer is ready to print.
For a network connection, make sure that the printer power is switched on.
After the Macintosh has restarted, select the Finder then select
Applications from the Go menu.
