Connect the IEEE1394 cable to the IEEE1394 port on the back of the
printer then to the IEEE1394 port on the Macintosh.
With a connector aligned correctly, push it all the way in to connect it
securely.

Use a LAN cable to connect the LAN port of the printer to the HUB
port.
Push in the connector until you hear it catch.

Use a LAN cable to connect the LAN port of the Macintosh to the
HUB port.
Push in the connector until you hear it catch.
Important
z If the printer is connected to a network, after you switch the printer on, you must
check the LNK lamp and confirm that it is lit. For details, please refer to "Connect
the Power Cord". (Æ P.1-10)
