z If the computer is connected to a network, open Chooser and make sure that Apple
Talk is enabled, then open AppleTalk on the Control Panel and make sure that the
Connect via is set for Ethernet. (Æ Network Guide)
Press the Power button to switch the printer on.
When the Online lamp is lit, the printer is ready to print.
For a network connection, make sure that the printer power is switched on.
After the Macintosh restarts, select Chooser in the Apple menu.
