7.3 Registers Controlling 8-Bit Timers 50, 60

8-bit timers 50 and 60 are controlled by the following five registers.
• 8-bit timer mode control register 50 (TMC50)
• 8-bit timer mode control register 60 (TMC60)
• Carrier generator output control register 60 (TCA60)
• Port mode register 3 (PM3)
• Port 3 (P3)
(1) 8-bit timer mode control register 50 (TMC50)
8-bit timer mode control register 50 (TMC50) is used to control the timer 50 count clock setting and the
operation mode setting.
TMC50 is set with a 1-bit or 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.
RESET input sets TMC50 to 00H.
