21. Click Finish to restart Windows 95.
22. The Windows 95 Setup Wizard will now configure hardware, Control Panel,
programs on the Start menu, Windows help, the MS-DOS program settings, Time
Zone, and Microsoft Exchange. Enter any changes when the system displays the
Time Zone screen. If you chose Microsoft Exchange, enter the information or
click Cancel to enter it later.
23. When prompted to set up a printer, click Cancel. Do not install a printer at this
time. You will not be able to access the Windows 95 Installation CD until you
reboot.
24. Click OK to restart the OmniBook.
25. Click Close at the Windows 95 Welcome Screen.
26. Create a directory under C:\WINDOWS called OPTIONS.
27. Create a directory under C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS called CABS.
28. Copy the files from the D:\WIN95 directory to C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS.
(This will make it easier to access the Windows 95 installation files when adding
drivers in the future.)
The OmniBook 800 external CD-ROM drive connects to the docking port on the
OmniBook 800. This causes Windows 95 to believe that the CD-ROM drive is a
docking system. Do the following to correctly configure an undock hardware
profile.
29. Shutdown Windows 95.
30. Disconnect the CD-ROM drive.
31. Press the Blue On/Off button.
32. Windows 95 will automatically configure an undock hardware profile. Click OK
when it is complete.
33. If you are using the Windows 95 Explorer
Click View.
Click Options.
Select Show all files, then click OK.
34. Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, System.
35. Click Device Manager.
36. Double-click Other Devices.
37. Select each PCI card.
