Toner Smudges and Residual Images Print

Probable Causes
The two grey dials on the fuser are set for envelope
printing.
Unsupported media (wrong size, thickness, type, etc.)
is being used.
Media type is set incorrectly.
Laser lens is dirty.
Solutions
Rotate both grey dials on the fuser to the paper
setting.
Use Xerox-approved media. See
page 41.
When printing envelopes, labels, heavyweight stock,
or transparencies, specify the appropriate media type
in the printer driver.
