2-Sided Printing Guidelines
A 2-sided document can be printed on supported paper from any tray. Before printing a 2-sided
document, verify the paper weight is within the appropriate weight range:

60-150 g/m
(16-32 lb. Bond)
The following paper and media cannot be used for 2-sided printing:
•
Transparencies
•
Envelopes
•
Labels
•
Any die-cut specialty media, such as business cards
•
Heavyweight
•
Extra Heavyweight
•
Gloss
•
Heavyweight Gloss
•
Postcards

Printing a 2-Sided Document
1. Load paper in the tray. Orient letterhead correctly:
•
Tray 1: Insert side one faceup with the bottom of the page entering the printer first.
•
Tray 2, 3, or 4: Insert side one facedown with the top of the page toward the right of the tray.
