Network connections

The projector has a network function, and the following operations are available from the computer using the Web
browser control.
z Setting and adjustment of the projector
z Display of the projector status
z Setting of E-mail notification
"Crestron RoomView" is a system developed by Crestron Electronics, Inc. which collectively manage and
control multiple system devices connected via the network, from a computer. This projector supports "Crestron
RoomView".

z A LAN cable is required to use the network function.
z The information and the URL of the website may be changed or deleted without notice.
z A Web browser is required to use this function. Confirm that the Web browser can be used beforehand.

z Communication with an E-mail server is required to use the E-mail function. Confirm that the E-mail can be
used beforehand.
z Use a LAN cable that is straight-through or crossover
*1: Depending on the system configuration, the type of the LAN cable that can be used may be either straight-through,
crossover, or both. Consult your network administrator for the details.
z Use a LAN cable with the length of 100 m (328'1") or shorter.

Required environment for computer connection

z Check if your computer is equipped with wired LAN beforehand.
z Before connecting the projector to your computer, be sure to check the following settings.

z Is the wired LAN function activated?

z Is the wired LAN adapter recognized correctly?

z Is the wired LAN adapter activated?

z Install the wired LAN adapter driver before you use the network function.
Refer to the instruction manual of the wired LAN adapter for the installation of the driver.
