Programming Function 67 (cont'd) and 68
67. Program System Features (cont'd)
Emergency Command Features
Local Emergency Command features (#45 and #47, described below)
are enabled ("ON") by default. Global Emergency Command features
(#38, #46 and #48, described below) can be enabled as described
below or by a subsequent DL-Windows download. Note: For infor-
mation about "Global" vs. "Local" Emergency Commands, see page 11.
38. Lock responds to "Global" Emergency Commands. (Default =
OFF, thus default = Lock responds to "Local" Emergency Com-
mands only). Allows lock to respond to Emergency commands
initiated by a Networx server running DL-Windows or by another
lock (as opposed to directly from a Wireless Remote Release).
39. Users are Disabled During Lockdown. (Default = ON). Basic
Users (User Numbers 12 - 5000) are denied access (passage
through the door) during an Emergency.
43. Enable Sounder on Emergency.
sounder beeps for 30 seconds while in Emergency.
44. Enable Inside Emergency Indicator. (Default = OFF; requires
inside housing with light bar). Pulses inside red LED while in Emer-
gency. Note: Enabling this option deletes all other relay outputs.
45. Activate Local Emergency: Keypad initiates Local Emergency
Commands. (Default = ON). Initiating an Emergency command
Disable System Features
This special Function 67 command sets all system features to "OFF" (i.e. "disabled" or "cleared"), regardless of their individual
default settings. This Function exists because some Function 67 features are "ON" by default and cannot be toggled "OFF" (for
example, the relay feature #3, "Failed attempted entry"; other examples include the Delayed Entry options #26-28). Therefore, the
only way to turn them "OFF" is to use this Function 67 command, i.e.
67. Set All Function 67 Features to "OFF"
Function 68 includes three (3) functions: "Privacy Time-Out Duration", "Privacy Terminated on Exit Only" and " Clear
(Default) All System Features" , explained below:
Privacy Time-Out Duration
Enter a number between 001-250 for Privacy Time-Out Duration, in minutes (always enter 3 digits). This duration is the
maximum time the Privacy Feature is enabled (default is 10 minutes). Note: Existing Privacy Time-Out Duration settings are
NOT affected by subsequent programming of "000", used to set all Function 67 system features and options back to their facto-
ry default states (see " Default All System Features" below). (To load the " out of box" factory default settings, see
"ERASE ALL PROGRAMMING" on page 14). Note: To maintain backwards compatibility with previous lock models,

ture #39 "Users are Disabled During Lockdown", feature #45 "Activate Local Emergency: Keypad initiates Local Emergency Com-
mands" and feature # 47 " Activate Local Emergency: Keyfob initiates Local Emergency Commands" , among others.
68. Privacy Time-Out and Default All Function 67
System Features
* Features 30, 31, 32 and 34 should be used with external DC power unless feature is used for short a duration or infrequently. Sustained closure of remote input or relay will drain batteries.
Scheduled events and their associated audit trail (log) entries will not occur during sustained closure of remote input.

directly from the lock's keypad places only that lock into an Emer-
gency state; the Emergency command is not sent to other locks in
the system.
46. Activate Global Emergency: Keypad initiates Global Emergen-
cy Commands. (Default = OFF). Initiating an Emergency com-
mand directly from the lock's keypad immediately sends the Emer-
gency command to all other locks in the system, then places the
local lock into an Emergency state.
47. Activate Local Emergency: Keyfob initiates Local Emergency
Commands. (Default = ON). Initiating an Emergency command
from a Wireless Remote Release (for example model RR-
4BKEYFOB Wireless Remote Release) places only the paired lock
into an Emergency state; the Emergency command is NOT sent to
other locks in the system.

cy. (Default = OFF). Initiating an Emergency command from a
Wireless Remote Release (for example model RR-4BKEYFOB

command to all other locks in the system, then places the paired
lock into an Emergency state.
