Figure 3: Data Exchange with a Multifunction Room Operating Unit

The "SLAVE1_INPUT" input variable is of type "typWRF06_INPUT". The
possible input values are depicted in this data type. The "typWRF06_INPUT"
input variable can be transferred to the specified segments via the "bRefresh"
input.
The "enumDeviceType" input is used to set the type of the connected room
operating unit.
Note
Value change
The data belonging to the segment (package) is transferred to the room
operating unit when there is a value change in the "typWRF06_INPUT"
structure or when setting a bit in the "bRefresh" byte.
The "tUpdateClock" input can be used to set the synchronization interval. If the
input value > "t#0s", the time of the room operating unit is synchronized with the
"dtActualTime" input. If the synchronization interval is t#0s, no time is
transferred to the room operating unit. The update time is set to 1 hour in Figure 3.
The "xEnable" input can be used to switch ON/OFF communication between the
function block and the associated room operating unit.
Network 5, 6 and 7 of Figure 3 show how the dot operator can be used to access
individual variables within a structure.
