ONNECTING THE SENSORS

Connecting the rotary encoder

CAUTION!
To avoid damage to the electronics:
Switch the machine off before connecting
the rotary encoder.
Plug the rotary encoder in to the connector shown
[52A].
To change to an NPN-type rotary encoder:
Swap jumper JP104 on the power supply unit PCB
into the NPN position [55A].
For push-pull rotary encoder, use the PNP set-
ting.
Connecting the recommeded Pepper + Fuchs rotary
encoder to an M12 connector:
