ONNECTING THE SENSORS

Switching between PNP/NPN

Both, the machine as well as the label sensors provided
by Avery Dennison, are preset for NPN-mode opera-
tion.The Avery sensor can as well be operated in PNP-
mode, if power supply board and sensor are switched
to PNP.

Switching on the power supply
Swap over jumper JP102 [32A] on the power supply
board.
Switching at the sensor
Wenglor sensor
Switching at the sensor is not possible.
Avery sensor
Press the button [33A] for at least 6 s, until the status
LEDs [33B] flash 2x.
– Default setting: NPN
Finding out the current setting
Move some label material through the sensor fork
and watch the LEDs.
