About installation
Do not drop or hit the device or module, and do not subject them to strong shock.
It may cause a failure.
Mobile phone, PHS, etc. shall be used at least 1m away from the running product, all transmission
cables, I/O cables, etc. It may cause system malfunction.
Connect the connectors and cables, and mount the module to the base unit with screws to secure
it securely. Insufficient screw fastening may cause failure or malfunction due to vibration.
Power supply wiring
Keep cables as far away as possible from the other wires. Especially, keep it 200mm or more away
from power line.
The terminal screw size is M3.5. Use compatible crimp terminals with 5.5mm or less width for M.5
screws.
Do not connect anything to the NC section or any terminal or pin that has no description on.
About using sample programs
Use the sample program described in the instruction manual after confirming its operations by
customer. Carefully check before operation to prevent accidents due to malfunctions.
About maintenance
When handling a module that has been removed from the base unit, pay special attention to static
electricity. Place the module on a grounded desk with a conductive mat or conductive bag (bag
containing a spare board, etc.). It may cause parts to be damaged by static electricity.
Before touching any equipment or module, touch a grounded metal object to discharge static
electricity from your body. Static electricity can cause equipment malfunction or failure.
When holding the module, hold the handle and ejector on the front panel and do not hold the printed
circuit board directly. There is a risk of damage to components due to static electricity charged in
the hand, electric shock due to charge in the circuit, or injury to the hand due to circuit parts.
Wipe the device or module with a soft cloth.
If it is very dirty, squeeze a cloth soaked with water.
Leaving it dirty can lead to erroneous decisions and operation errors.
When cleaning the device or module, do not use benzene or thinner.
If do so may cause deformation or discoloration of the equipment panel or module.
Perform daily inspections, periodic inspections, and cleaning to keep the system normal and
prevent unnecessary troubles.
