7.4.1 The File Menu
Save and Report
This option opens the report preview. From the preview, the report can be saved as a pdf, Word or
Excel file. See on p. 27.
Import Record / Export Record
To exchange data with other computers, you can export single or multiple records into a file or import
them from a file.

Transmit measurements from the
gauge to the PC
Transmit job data from the PC to the
gauge
Create a duplicate version of an
existing record
Delete one or more records
Shows the serial number(s) of the
gauge(s) within the range of the
wireless connection
Automated placement of
measurements
Create a new, empty record
Saves the defined measurement
positions
Changes the color of the grid lines;
depending on the picture, this may
improve visibility
Changes the text color of all
measurements of the current record.
Measurements whose text color was
changed individually via the context
menu remain unchanged.
Saves the current record
Clears all filter entries; all records in
the database will be displayed
Searches for CarCheck gauges within
the range of the wireless connection
Opens the Table view
