Use trocar FW271R only in
combination with the aim-

Secure the outer sleeves by
hand when inserting or
removing other instru-
ments (e.g. the thread cut-
ter, screwdriver).
The outer sleeve can be
reapplied using the posi-
tioning aid FW708R.
The outer sleeve can be
secured using the threaded
tube FW234R and the
adjusting screw, long
FW707R
Only use the guide instru-
ment FW708R for screw-
ing in monoaxial pedicle
screws.
Damage to the monoaxial ped-
icle screw when screwing in
with the FW708R with the
CAUTION
screwdriver in the wrong posi-
tion!

Disassembling
The threaded tube FW734R and adjust-
ing screw FW707R

When using the adjusting screw FW707R with

percutaneous threaded tube FW734R: Screw the
adjusting screw 4 off the threaded tube FW734R,
see Fig. A.
Spacer FW709R

Remove the nut and the guide sleeve a from the
spacer 5, see Fig. B.
Bar insertion instrument FW711R

Screw the inner part out of the bar insertion
instrument 6, see Fig. C.
Distractor FW238R and distraction
blades, short FW706R

Activate slider b and remove the distraction
blades 7 from the distractor FW238R, see Fig. D.

Dismantle distractor FW238R with the distraction
blades.
When screwing in the
monoaxial pedicle screw,
always insert the screw-
driver all the way into the
head of the pedicle screw.
