Power Supply Unit (sPSU-S) LED Indicators
The following types of LED indicators are located on a Vantage 8500 power supply unit (up to 5
units per chassis):
The LED pairs on the Fabric Board indicate the state of a group of 6 internal links.
Each group of 6 links corresponds to one of the Line Board positions. Each pair of
LEDs indicates the state of each sLB port. The two LEDs in each pair are:

Green –
ON
physical link is up; all 6 internal ports have a link (line board
–
present and fully connected)
OFF
no link detected on any of the 6 sLB internal ports (a line
–
board is missing)
Blinking
error, not all internal ports are up (defect internal link/s)

Amber –
Blinking
link activity on one/several of 6 internal ports (frame
–
sent/received)
OFF
no link activity on any of 6 internal ports (frame sent/
–
received)
ON – indicates that all board voltage levels are operating normally.
OFF – indicates a problem in a board's power supply
Indicates when the board can be extracted.
ON – indicates that the board can be extracted
OFF – indicates that the board cannot be extracted
