Direction 1
Initial Trip Section
Profile Name
Follow these steps to enter the profile name:
Enter a custom profile name, up to 12 characters, for each of the four General

Profiles. This entry is edited here (in the Setup>Protection>General Profile
1>Direction 1 Current>Initial Trip screen) and will be displayed on each
screen and sub-screen for the profile. This label is also displayed on the main
screen for the active general profile. See Figure 29.

STEP 2.
Enter the overcurrent selections and settings that define the initial trip for
General Profile 1, Direction 1. The labels previously entered for the terminals
on the Setup>General>Site Related screen identify the directions. Overcurrent
selections for both directions must be entered. The settings entered for
Direction 1 can be copied to Direction 2 and modified as necessary.
Four general profiles are available and include a complete set of protection
elements that determine how the IntelliRupter fault interrupter will perform
Open and Circuit Test operations.
Copy From button
Follow these steps to use the Copy From button:
For Direction 1, copy settings from another General Profile to minimize data

only works when the computer is connected to a control.
Select the General Profile to copy and click on the Copy From button. The

settings boxes on the screen are populated with the copied selections and
values. For Direction 2, the settings are always copied from Direction 1, not
from the selected General Profile.
