Protection Setup
A Clear Alarm command clears the leakage current alarm and counts unless the
Leakage Current Warning is already active. A Clear Warning command clears the leak-
age current warning, alarm, and counts unless the Leakage Current Error message
is already active. A Clear Error command clears the leakage current error, warning,
alarm, and counts.
Leakage Current Time Accumulation
This is the total time in milliseconds leakage current above the Current Level for VI
Leakage Detection setpoint has been detected.
Leakage Current Error Check
When the Yes option is chosen for the Leakage Current Error Check mode, leakage
current will be monitored. It is not monitored when set to the No option. (Default: Yes)
Delay Before VI Leakage Detection Enabled
When the vacuum interrupter opens leakage detection is delayed by the number of cycles
configured for this setpoint. (Range: 5-10; Step: 1; Default: 5)
Current Level for VI Leakage Detection
VI leakage current must be above this setpoint to register. Current level units are in
amperes, as measured through the VI phase current sensor. (Range: 2-50; Step: 1;
Default: 10)
Definite Time Delay
When the duration of VI leakage current at any pole reaches this setpoint, a VI Leakage
Current error is issued. An alarm is issued at 50% of this setpoint, and a warning is issued
at 80% of this setpoint. Definite Time Delay units are in fundamental frequency cycles.
(Range: 10-20; Step: 1; Default: 14)
Definite Time Element Reset Timer
All Leakage Current Counts Timers are reset to 0 when leakage current has not
occurred for the duration of this setpoint in days. (Range: 5-40; Step: 1; Default: 30)
