These methods can be used to enable or disable the Loop Restoration mode Ready
state:
• The Loop Restoration mode can be enabled or disabled with an IntelliLink software
command on the Operation screen. See Figure 83.
Figure 83. An Operation screen command can enable or disable the Loop Restoration mode.
• The Automatic Enable of Loop Restoration for Manual Lever Open mode (only
applicable to the Normally Open configuration) only applies when an OPEN-CLOSE-
READY lever operation causes the state to change. A state change caused by a fault
event will not result in automatically enabling Loop Restoration mode.
• If Automatic Enable of Loop Restoration for Manual Lever Close mode (only appli-
cable to the Normally Closed configuration) has been configured, the Wi-Fi or SCADA
command to re-enable the Loop Restoration mode is not necessary. When the
IntelliRupter fault interrupter is manually closed, it goes to the Ready state if the other
conditions for a Loop Restoration mode Ready state have been satisfied.
• A SCADA command to enable or disable Loop Restoration mode. See Figure 84.
Figure 84. A SCADA command can enable or disable the Loop Restoration mode.
When the IntelliRupter fault interrupter Loop Restoration Timer is running, it is
indicated on the Operation screen. See Figure 85 on page 139.
When Loop Restoration mode has successfully restored the line segment, it is indi-
cated on the Operation screen. See Figure 86 on page 139.
