Symptom - The odometer continues to add miles, and the speedometer indicates a
speed reading when the PTO (Power Take-Off) is engaged and the vehicle is not moving.
Probable Causes - Input from the PTO to the SMC is open; defective SMC
Procedure: Follow the steps in Figure 5-12.
