Symptom - Gauge passes initialization but is inaccurate in actual use; pointer stays at
7:00 position with flashing LED; false warning message or alarm.
Probable Cause - Clogged or damaged pressure line; Interface Module defective.
Gauge Types - Air Tank 1, Air Tank 2, Brake Saver Air, Air Starter, Fuel Pressure,
Load Air, Pusher Suspension, Tractor Brake, Tag Suspension, Trailer Brake.
Procedure: (see Figure 5-3)
1. Locate the pressure port for the gauge and disconnect the line from the PTM.

Air Tank 1 port: 1A
b. Air Tank 2 port: 1B
c.
Other pressure gauges: If a Fuel Restriction gauge is present, then the
pressure gauge will be attached to port 5A. If an Air Restriction gauge is
present, then the pressure gauge will be attached to port 5B. If neither re-
striction gauge is present, there may be a pressure connection to either
5A or 5B.
2. Connect a test gauge between the line you removed and the transducer module
port you removed it from.
3. Start the engine and let the system pressure stabilize.
