Observe all gauges during the initialization period. Then pick the symptom in Table
5-2 that best describes what you see.
Two-Inch Gauge Symptom
Fails initialization - pointer not at 12:00
and the gauge LED flashes or stays on.
Fails initialization - pointer at 12:00 but
the gauge LED never lights.
Passes initialization, but the pointer
stays at 12:00 and the LED stays on.
Fails initialization - pointer not at 12:00
and the gauge LED never lights.
Passes initialization, but then the
pointer goes to 7:00 and the LED
flashes.
Passes initialization, but the gauge is
inaccurate in actual use.
Passes initialization, but then the
pointer sweeps back and forth and
stops at 10:00 position with the LED on.
