Chapter 1: Overview
Introduction
EXBOX.SG is an audio network to MADI converter based on the audio networking
technology Soundgrid from Waves.
Equipped with three MADI ports and four network ports, it offers straight-forward
conversion of 128 audio channels between MADI and Soundgrid.
Four network ports are connected to an internal switch and give the opportunity to
connect several devices without the need of an additional switch.
Applications
EXBOX.SG can be used as an easy to use frontend for bidirectional signal
exchange between Soundgrid and MADI environments.
Typical applications include:
• Integration of MADI in Soundgrid setups
• Plugin Server Integration
• Live Sound
