CHAPTER 1: Overview Introduction The MADI.SRC enables real time sample rate conversion of a complete MADI stream. It includes 32 high quality stereo sample rate converters, and supports all source and destination sample rates from 30 kHz to 50 kHz and their multiples, for all MADI formats (48k/96k Frame, 56/64 channels, S/MUX).
  • Page 7: How It Works

The stream is processed in real time and all output channels are phase and sample accurate to each other. Further the MADI.SRC can be used as a decoupling device to connect two asynchronous systems without any loss of audio quality.
