A 4:3 programme will be shown normally on a 16:9 screen, but with black bars
to the left and right.
A 4:3 programme will be shown as a centre blow up to fill the whole 16:9
screen, missing content to the left, right, top and bottom of the programme.
Options are: Default, Vivid, and Standard. Colours and Luminance can be
adapted to your taste or screen.
Audio available on the S/Pdif connector. Options are: LPCM Out, Auto, Force
SPDIF Out. LPCM Out will only forward PCM 2.0 audio format to the output.
Auto will also forward compressed Dolby Digital 5.1 to the S/Pdif, if available.
Force SPDIF Out will only forward audio to the S/Pdif connector, not on HDMI
or SCART.
Audio Description can be offered by a broadcaster as a service to Visual
Impaired people. The video content will be described by a narrator. When set
to On, if the AD track is available, will be mixed automatically with the original
sound.
The volume of the AD track can be adapted to make a better mix with the
original sound.
Options are: Auto and SDR. If your TV screen cannot process a HDR signal, then
select SDR. Otherwise use Auto.
Implementation of CEC is not equally by TV manufacturers. Usually, it works
good between equipment from one manufacturer. If it causes problems,
select Off.
Audio Description depends on the broadcaster inserting such an
accompanying audio track.
The current time obtained from the broadcast will be shown here, if Time
Zone Setting is set to Auto (Default).
Option are: Auto and Manual.
If a broadcaster should omit to sent a signal for Daylight saving time, you can
adapt the time by 1 hour, if Time Zone Setting is set to Manual.
This submenu shows receiver specific information such as hardware and
software version. Please have the Information screen on hand when you call
our hotline. The person who answers your call might ask for the information
given in this screen.
Reset your receiver to the default factory settings. Sometimes useful if the unit
suddenly behaves in an unexpected manner, e.g. after a power failure.
Select System then Factory Setting} Enter your password. Confirm by selecting
Yes. Note: This option will delete all your channels, Favourite lists and settings.
The receiver will reboot and start with the initial Installation menu.
