On-screen scanner setup and diagnostics

p/n 6510020208
The Da Vinci RAE Server provides the necessary tools to set up scanner
motion control parameters within the MSS. These include:
• Scan speed, acceleration, and deceleration
• Position PID
• Velocity PID
• Turn-around dwell
• Output-voltage-to-speed ratio
• Encoder-counts-to-distance ratio
• Line-tachometer-to-speed ratio
The Server can also be used as a diagnostic tool to question the MSS.
Interactive displays on the Server can provide information about:
• Contact inputs and outputs
• Analog input data
• SDAQ I/O
• Scanner switches
• Head position and scanning speed
• MSS position controller status
• MSS sensor manager status
The Da Vinci RAE Server diagnostic tool also lets you issue scanner- and
sensor-related commands such as single point and standardize, and, as a
last resort, allows resetting of the MSS CPU. For more information on how
to operate the Da Vinci system, refer to Da Vinci Operator's Manual, p/n
6510020192.
For on-screen Scanner setup and diagnostics relevant to the 4022-30
scanner, refer to the original MxOpen documentation.
