Function of Off-road ESP

Off-road ESP is activated automatically when
you select the F drive program. It intervenes
later if there is oversteering or understeering,
thus improving traction. A special ETS system
specifically suited to off-road terrain is also acti‐
vated.

In poor road and weather conditions, the
trailer stabilisation cannot prevent lurching of
the vehicle/trailer combination. Trailers with
a high centre of gravity may tip over before
