140 Seats and stowing
1 Coat hook
Coat hooks are not suitable for hanging heavy
objects as this can cause the tailgate to lower
automatically. Use the coat hooks only for light
objects such as jackets.
Opening or closing the stowage space under
the load compartment floor
& WARNING Risk of injury due to an open
load compartment floor
If you drive when the load compartment floor
is open, objects could be thrown around and
thereby strike vehicle occupants. There is a
risk of injury, particularly in the event of sud‐
den braking or a sudden change in direction.
Always close the load compartment

floor before a journey.
& WARNING Risk of burns due to hot
audio amplifier
The audio amplifier and the area around the
audio amplifier in the stowage space under
the load compartment floor can get very hot.
If you touch these car parts, you may suffer
burns.
Always take special care when the load

compartment floor in the area around
the audio amplifier is open.
Allow the car parts to cool down before
#
touching them.

Heat-sensitive objects, e.g. clothing or items
of luggage, may be damaged if they come
into contact with the audio amplifier.
