Make sure that the levers are locked, and then tighten the screws into their housings.

Push the MPMRx card firmly into the Backplane, making sure it is properly seated in its slot.

Ensure that the metal ejector levers are fully retracted into their housings.

Tighten the captive screws on the front panel of the RMX that secure the MPMRx card to the
chassis.

Repeat the procedure for any additional MPMRx card(s).

If the Fast Configuration Wizard dialog box appears, complete the wizard. For more information,
see the RMX 1500/1800/2000/4000 Getting Started Guide Chapter 2, Modifying the Default IP Service
and the ISDN/PSTN Network Service Settings. The Fast Configuration Wizard, requires a reset to
complete.
— When the Reset Confirmation dialog box appears, click Yes.
The MPMRx card status does not appear normal, the status changes only after the system is
restarted (System Restart button).

If you backed up the RMX configuration do this:
— On the Collaboration Server menu, click Administration > Software Management >Restore
Configuration.
— Browse to the Restore Directory Path where the backed up configuration files are stored and
then click Restore.

Guide, Chapter 21, Software Management.
— Reset (System Restart button) the RMX to switch the RMX 2000/4000 to the MPMRx
Configuration Mode.

The card startup procedure is complete when the MPMRx card(s) successfully completes startup
and the green RDY (Ready) LED remains lit on the MPMRx card(s) and Control Unit.
Its is recommended that slots that are left open on the MCU be sealed with blank panels. Request for
blank panels are to be referred to your next level of support.
