Mounting

32
This section describes the method for mounting each module on and dismounting it from
the base unit.
• Confirm that cable is not connected to the module to be mounted/dismounted.
• Before work, make sure that power is not supplied to the module by the power supply mod-
ule via external cable, and that the power switch is turned OFF. Otherwise, electrical shock
or equipment failure can be caused.
• Take care so that conductive objects, such as cable fragments, do not enter the module.
Fire or equipment failure can be caused.
• When dismounting the module, be careful not to suffer burns; the module surface may be
hot.
• Use a screwdriver suitable to M4 screws. Otherwise, screws can be damaged.
• Be sure to mount each module on a dedicated base unit. Otherwise, the module is dam-
aged, causing failure.
All modules, including the power supply module, can be mounted on the base unit by the
same method. Mount each module in the following procedure.
(1) Apply the four rear corners (recessed) of the module to the respective guide plates
of the base unit.
(2) Slowly insert the connector (male) of the module into the connector (female) of the
base unit.
(3) Push the upper and lower portions of the module rather strongly against the base
unit until the male connector is inserted completely into the female connector.
