Fan Unit

BU784
The BU784 is a board unit for duplex configuration, which is equipped with a G3 I/O bus
motherboard and a station bus motherboard. Fig. 1-19 is the front view of the BU784,
along with standard module installation positions.

The fan unit removes heat of each module by forced air cooling. It has a filter on its front
panel, to prevent dust from entering the main unit through the air inlet.
IMPORTANT
Do not place an obstacle in front of the fan unit; if the air inlet is blocked, module inside
temperature rises, activating the temperature sensor, causing error.
